What enhancing fixes well
- Slightly soft or out-of-focus photos

- Old low-resolution photos
- Pictures that lost quality after compression in messengers and social networks
What it can’t fix
- Heavy motion blur or a completely out-of-focus shot can’t be fully restored.
- The AI rebuilds detail it predicts, so tiny text, distant faces or license plates may come out different from reality. Don’t rely on enhanced images as documents or evidence.

Can Snip unblur a photo?
Yes, if the photo is slightly soft or a little out of focus: Snip sharpens it and restores detail. Heavy motion blur can’t be fully fixed.
How much can Snip increase resolution?
On iPhone and iPad, enhanced photos are up to about 4096 px. On Mac, you can upscale ×2 for free or ×4 with PRO, up to 8192 px.
Is the photo enhancer free?
